What this covers

This policy covers the Strech marketing website — the pages you’re reading now, including the waitlist. When the Strech service itself launches (accounts, bookings, payments, appliance telemetry), it will ship with its own privacy policy before it collects anything. It also covers Strech’s SMS program, described under SMS / Text Messaging below.

What we collect

The waitlist form. If you join the waitlist, you give us an email address, a ZIP code, and whether you’re a homeowner or a pro. Submitting the form transmits those three fields to us. They are received and stored by Netlify Forms, our host, and forwarded to the system we use to keep track of the list. We use them for exactly one purpose — emailing you about your spot when your city opens — and we no longer keep a copy in your browser.

Hosting logs. Our host (Netlify) receives the standard technical data every web server receives — IP address, browser type, pages requested — and uses it to serve the site and keep it secure. We don’t add analytics, tracking pixels, or session recording on top of it.

SMS / Text Messaging

This section describes Strech’s SMS (text message) program: what it collects, how people opt in, what gets sent, and how to stop. The SMS Consent page carries the same information in short form.

What we collect

Strech may collect:

• Mobile phone numbers
• Records of each person’s SMS consent, including the date and how they opted in
• Message delivery logs

Why we collect it

SMS information is used only to send service-related messages.

For homeowners, these messages may include:

• Booking confirmations
• Technician arrival windows
• Job status updates
• Completion notices

For contractors, these messages may include:

• Job alerts
• Assignment updates

How people opt in

Homeowners opt in through an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox in the Strech app.

Contractors opt in by texting the keyword JOBS to our designated Strech SMS number, 240 905-5348.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply.

How to opt out and get help

Users can:

• Reply STOP to opt out at any time
• Reply START to resume messages
• Reply HELP for help

Who handles the data

Twilio processes SMS messages on Strech’s behalf only to deliver messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding service providers who deliver messages on our behalf.

What we never do

• No selling or renting your information — to anyone, ever.
• No advertising trackers, no cross-site profiling.
• No third-party analytics scripts.
• No newsletters you didn’t ask for — the waitlist earns you one email, when your city opens.

Third parties we rely on

Netlify hosts the site and receives your waitlist submission through Netlify Forms, which stores it for us. Unsplash serves our photography from its CDN, so your browser requests images from their servers the way it would from ours. Twilio processes SMS messages on Strech’s behalf only to deliver messages. Waitlist entries are also forwarded to the system we use to manage the list. None of them is used by us to identify or track you.

Your choices

Write to hello@strech.ai to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted — leaving the list takes one email, and your address leaves with you. Nothing about your signup is kept on your own device, so there is no local copy for you to clear.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it. A material change to what we collect will be flagged on this page, not buried. The SMS / Text Messaging section was added on the effective date above.
